Prime Time Player Rules

Do you think you are a well rounded fantasy sports player? Do you think you have what it takes to be a PRIME TIME PLAYER?? Now you have a chance to prove it.

There are 10 different leagues/pools chosen by Prime Fantasy Sports to determine who will be our Prime Time Player for the 2017 season. They are listed in the next section. Here's how you win:

-Score points based on where you finish in each league/pool. See Scoring Section below for more information

-Score the most points and become our Prime Time Player at the end of the year

-No extra cost to play. Just pay the regular entry fee for each league/pool

-Each entry MUST play in at least 7 of the 10 leagues/pools (Best 7 are scored)

-Play in more than 7 to increase your chances of winning

The NFL Playoffs League starts things off in January and ends with the College Bowls League in December. Here is the complete list of leagues/pools used to determine the Prime Time Player of the Year:

NFL Playoff League
Fantasy Nascar
Nascar One League
NHL Playoff League
NBA Playoff League
PGA Majors League
College Football League
NFL Survivor League
NFL Survivor Mid Season League
College Bowls League

Sorry, no Keeper Leagues will be included

Each entry must participate in at least 7 of the 10 eligible leagues/pools. Playing in less than the required 7 deems you ineligible to be the Prime Time Player.

If an entry participates in more than 7 of the eligible leagues/pools, your best 7 according to points will be used. For example, if you play in all 10, your worst 3 scores will be dropped.

HELPFUL HINT: If you aren't doing well in one of your leagues/pools, or are eliminated from that particular pools payout, do your best to finish as high as possible. It could be the difference between being the Prime Time Player or not at the end of the season.

Earn one point for each entry you finish higher than in the standings for each pool/league

Example #1: There are 50 entries in a pool. You finish 1st in the pool.

Entries: 50
Finish: 1st
Points: 50 points

Example #2: There are 50 entries in a pool. You finish 35th in the pool.

Entries: 50
Finish: 35th
Points: 16 points

NFL Survivor Leagues: Points will be awarded based on when you received your 2nd strike. If 2 or more entries receive their 2nd strike in the same week, those ties will be broken based on which week your entry received its 1st strike. EX. 2 entries received their 2nd strike in Week 14. Entry A got their first strike in Week 4, Entry B in Week 8. Entry B would win the tiebreaker.

Fantasy Nascar and Nascar One League: Playoff teams will be awarded PTP points first based on entries that make the playoffs. Segment 4 standings will round out the remaining points. EX. If there are 12 playoff teams, they will be scored 1 thru 12. The winner of Segment 4 will place 13th. 2nd place in Segment 4 will place 14th and so on.

$0. There is no extra cost to play. Just pay the regular entry fee for each league/pool as normal and you are automatically entered and play in 7 of the 10 eligible pools to be in the running for the winnings.

In addition to any regular pool winnings you may receive, Prime Fantasy Sports will award the Prime Time Player an additional $100 for your efforts and place your name in lights (well maybe not lights) at the top of the Wall of Champions on the Prime Fantasy Sports homepage for one full year.....or until you are dethroned.

On the Prime Fantasy Sports homepage, click on the Prime Time Player link in the red menu at the very top of the page. The PTP link will be first from the right. The Top 5 standings will be posted in the ticker at the top of the Prime Fantasy Sports homepage.

Each entry will be scored separately and any additional entries must fit the 7 of 10 pool criteria in order to be eligible for the payout.

For example, if you enter 3 entries in the NFL Playoffs, in order for entries #2 and #3 to be eligible, you must enter #2 and #3 in at least 6 more pools in order to be eligible.

For the 2017 season, if you pay for all 10 pools/leagues at once prior to the start of the NFL Playoffs pool, you will receive a bundle discount. The cost is $150. (Paying for each one separately would cost you $171.90). This amount covers all entry fees for all the pools/leagues that make up the Prime Time Player competition, so when each pool starts, you would simply signup for the pool/league and you are good to go.

How To Pay For The Bundle: If you wish to pay for the discount, send a check to this address before the NFL Playoffs League begins in January (Sorry, bundle payments cannot be made using League Safe) to the following address:

Prime Fantasy Sports
PO Box 2676
Waterville, ME 04903

You must pay for all leagues/pools at once to receive the discount, however you are not required to pay for them all at once. You can pay when each league/pool starts if that fits your budget better. Just make sure that you enter in 7 of the 10 leagues/pools to be eligible for the winnings.
